Today is a day full of great expectations! Everyday I expect great things from myself, from others, and from the universe as a whole.
Some may say that I set myself up for failure and disappointment. I think just the opposite; most of us expect mediocrity or worse. We resign ourselves to our lot day in and day out, and while stuck in our rut, are incapable of seeing or experiencing greatness even if staring straight at it.
No, I'd rather have great expectations daily and be fully aware when great things come my way.

Yes, I do know Carlos Bauta or to the rest as Solrac. For the past twenty years or so I have known this lovable, sometimes mysterious, jovial, electrifying personality that brings the best out of me and others too.
ReplyDeleteHe has an aura about him that mystifies many with his ability to communicate to the masses whether it is just the two of us or to thousands, thousands is better though, because he obtains his energy from them and as they start to respond to what Carlos is saying this only generates more heart filled wisdoms.
Carlos is truly an optimist, he sees the best in everyone, he truly wants the best for anyone he meets, he will give the shirt off his back if the circumstances warrant it, he has a very hard time saying no to people in need, even when he needs too.
